M.KAY

 

M.Kay (Known as Makhu Katsande), born 14th October 1994, is a recording artist from Blanchardstown, Dublin signed to Mic-A-Blaze Records, a Galway based recording label. As a youngster, M.Kay was always into hip-hop music. At age 18, M.Kay started writing raps because of the love he had for rap just from listening to his favourites and this led to him recording his first ever track in his room through a USB microphone.

 

In April 2014, he released a mixtape titled “The Kick Off (TKO)”, which had two big songs “Back In the Day” and “Pain”. After releasing the first mixtape, M.Kay teamed up with Mic-A-Blaze Records.

 

Growing up, Makhu’s two older brothers were producing music. This influenced him to do what he does today.
M.Kay is currently studying Computing Science in a college in Dublin as well as working on his next project set for an early 2015 release. For now, M.Kay promises to keep posting freestyles, cyphers, gig info and lots more, but the new project he’s working on, will be out in 2015.
The rapper is yet to release his first project under Mic-A-Blaze Records.
