With Hard Working Class Heroes just around the corner, Street Ceol TV have decided to help you make your decision of which acts to see. We have chosen our top 10 picks, thats not to say that the others aren’t great too.

1.Zaska (The Academy Green Room)

German born, Wicklow native, Max Zaska brings his band of funk to The Academy Green Room. Always enegetic and exciting, Zaska shows will leave you feeling very good about life.

2.Ailbhe Reddy (The Grand Social)

Ailbhe Reddy always pops up on lists of ones to watch so you better make sure you catch her in a small venue before she hits the big time.

3.Rusangano Family (The Academy Green Room)

They made waves on Other Voices, at Body & Soul and even supported Snoop Dogg. These guys are fantastic and are bringing a new sound to the Irish Hip Hop game.

4.This Other Kingdom (The Mercantile)

This Dublin 4 piece describe their sound as Neo- Psychedelic Rock. A brilliant live act with a frontman that puts on a great show.

5.Mongoose (The Grand Social)

All female jazz folk (or jolk as they like to say) band formed just 3 years ago but already have established themselves across the country.

6.Anderson (The Grand Social)

There’s not much left to say about Anderson who has just had a meteoric rise to fame thanks to his innovative album sales approach. This is definitely going to be a packed house so make sure you get to The Grand Social early.

7.Inni-K (The Grand Social)

A songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Kildare. Inni-K has a sound like no other. Her debut album was excellent so we expect her live show to be just as good.

8.Bitch Falcon (Hangar)

Dublin grunge act Bitch Falcon were the recent recipients of some recording time thanks to their stellar performances at the Guinness Amplify gigs. With that sort of endorsement, they must be doing something right.

9.Basciville (The Workman’s Club)

Basciville are a band of brothers from Wexford. Cillian and Lorcan Byrne have a very soulful sound and are bound to wow the crowd in The Workman’s Club.

10.Callum Orr (The Workman’s Club)

Callum Orr brings a unique twist to the folk genre with his captivating lyrics and enchanting voice. He gives Damien Rice a run for his money.
